A random execution is a lot more complex than one person just being chosen to die.

Bandwagoning on one person is an easy 1/3 (or very close to it) hit or miss. This will always be like this. There's so much control over who's being executed that there's virtually no control over the chance of hitting a baddie. It will stay in accordance to the ratio of baddies to innocents. There's no chance for an increase on the first day (or a decrease for that matter).

Adding 3 or 4 more people to the mix gives the execution both control (the amount of players), and a much more flexible percentage of success. Neither the amount of players or the percentage of a successful execution are gripped with an iron fist and neither are left without any control at all. The only downside I can see is that it has a chance of going below the 33.3 percentage (which I think is a fine sacrifice for the chance of increasing the probability of a successful execution occuring.

0 baddies = 0% of hitting baddie (fairly low chance of happening)
1 baddie = 20% (lower than the 33%)
2 baddies = 40%
3 baddies = 60%
4 baddies = 80%
5 baddies = 100% (not going to happen, but there's the chance)

It's not really need right now, but there are also percentage for each one of those that could be used.

Point being, that random execution are a lot more flexible and have a much higher potential of hitting a baddie. A bandwagon doesn't have that potential (or any for that matter). Sure, the chances aren't necessarily great but with luck they can be.

In this situation, I really don't think it wise to execute someone who can possibly be the real thing. I'm sure the dreamers will dream of her tonight and if she turns out evil, we'll execute her. Of course she could be a OMT, but maybe if she's lying there's someone that actually has that role out there.

Also, I'd much rather be randomly executed than bandwagoned on for no reason *cough*NCW*cough* (even if I was evil in that game). I'm sure many people (even Laq, who's main purpose IS to die) would rather be killed by chance.

Just so you know, I may not be as active as I normally would be for the next couple of days or so. For a multitude of reasons. I'll probably just be normal, but I may not, too. Dunno.

Anyways. I cannot think at the moment, so...

You know what, Kuge? Since you're such a big fan of randomness,

Just in case. By the way, your math is wrong. Even if you have three or four people in the mix, you'll still only hit one person, and that person has a 30% chance of being evil.

I'm not being hostile. I'm just voting for you because your math is slightly fallacious.

If LAQ is telling the truth... I don't want to die. And I think she may be.

I think she just doesn't wanna die or even if she is an innocent, we will never know if she is tellin the truth or not.

For voting me because my math is "wrong" and failing. o_o

The more baddies in a group of votes, the higher chance that one has to being executed in a random execution. A person is randomly chosen for execution, if there are 4 baddies in the group of 5 people voted, there is not a 33% chance that one of them is evil (and thus there's not a 33% chance that a baddie will be executed). -_-

Monkeys shouldn't be able to do math so let's drop this, okay?

I know, I'm not saying it's off-topic, just that it gets quite boring. I prefer action.

That's what dreams are for.

You do realize that if we execute her and she is telling the truth, we're wasting a possible chance at killing a baddie later in the game, when they attack her, right? AND if she IS innocent, she'd be a good contact for innocents too.

omg, revealing your role doesn't do anything anymore. And bandwagonning people on the first day even though they've already revealed their role just isn't nice.

Vote: theonlysaneone Clucky, you forgot Kuge's vote on theonlysaneone :P.
