Phew! With the new release of the Neopets plot - “The Return of Dr. Sloth” - and all the forum events and new boards being introduced, the PPT community is a hive of activity from the PPTbies2008 to the first forum contest with a real prize… a Nintendo DS and a choice of a game! A few new events are about to be unleashed into the world of PPT and there’s just so many things to talk about but not enough time to sit here and gather my thoughts so I think for the next few days… I’ll need to take a chill pill to re-organize my thoughts before forging ahead.

What we are planning however is a major re-organisation of the entire website to make the front page your one one shop for the latest Neopets-related updates, and then we’ll introduce a PPT Community Portal to feature all the exciting features PPT has to offer. We’ll also introduce a few new features on the main site to draw together all the departments at PPT; there are so many ideas flying around PPT that it’s getting hard to keep up.

The host images and photos for The PPT Show have been added to the website (we now have a full banner with the exception of Helena to be added yay!) and I’m releasing all the back log of episodes we have woo! Starting this Friday 3 PM NST when we record episode 47 of The PPT Show, we’ll be switching systems to a live recording and we’ll be releasing episodes the same day as they are recorded.

We finished recording episode 46 of The PPT Show yesterday and boy-o was that fun. I’m about three episodes behind releasing them so I’ll try to do them all very soon.

On the topic of The PPT Show, Helena created The PPT Show touring bus. This is how all The PPT Show hosts get together every Friday afternoon to record what you all lovingly call “The PPT Show“. Notice the flying wings and the destination stops? Now how is this for awesome?

In other news the PPT Forum is picking up again heavily after being revamped and after introducing some new Neopets-specific boards (Neopets Cutomization Mall and Avatar Discussion). I’ve also opened up The PPT Collage 2008 and the PPTbies2008 .

Over the past two days I’ve been tweaking PPT like it’s nobody’s business! Yesterday was the main site (changing all the feature advertisements, organizing the right hand menu - notice that I’ve moved the search box up near the top for people to find what they’re looking for easier - and adding all the missing tabs that we suppose to be present but weren’t. Phew!

Now that the PPT Forum is fixed (woohoo!) and up and running again (running by which I mean you can actually make new topics and post replies now)… I’ve spent today fixing up all the board descriptions, adding new boards, re-organizing all the exisiting boards and just making the forum a more sweet place to be all round.

A quick announcement that the PPT Forum currently has a bug which is preventing people from making new threads or replying to any posts. I’m currently working on fixing this. Apologies to all those who wanted their daily Neopets fix but I’ll try to get the forum working again as soon as possible.

Finally, I’ve opened up paid news posting positions at PPT for the first time in PPT history (and I’d assume the first time in any Neopets fansite history). I’ve brought on three news posters who will be working full time on PPT bringing you all the latest and greatest Neopets-related news and updates so PPT can remain the most up-to-date and comprehensive Neopets-related resource.
