People Behind PPT - The Secret Lives

study-area People Behind PPT - The Secret Lives

Hi guys! So outside PPT, I have a secret life! (Shock *gasp* horror!) I’m actually a law student as well, and I have my first end-of-year exams tomorrow. As you can see in the above photo, this is where I do most of my studying. I find studying at my desk difficult as the computers here are connected to the internet and when I sit here, I start jumping on PPT and chatting with all my friends. *falls over and twitches*

Ah well no matter… I feel like PPT chugs along without me so i can take a few moments to really get stuck into my education. Speaking of which, this is just further proof that I am a REAL person people! I am NOT a robot haha. Where did that question come from anyway?

kym-podcasting Podcasting Studio and an Update on PPT

Hi everyone! How are you all doing! I’m writing to you all from The PPT Show recording studio AKA my study room where I do the majority of my academic procrastination! Today we recorded episode 34 of The PPT Show, did an exclusive one-on-one mono-e-mono interview with Dave Moyer from www.neocast.org, and also one with Jonny Blackler, two of the most popular The PPT Show hosts ever.

If you’ve been on the main website over the past few days, you will have noticed that the website design changed once again to something a little more friendlier and closer to home. This update should explain the reasons for it. Basically, I felt like the previous changes were a bit too drastic, and while I liked the new features that were available, there were still a lot of bugs and kinks that needed to be worked out so they will be done quietly in the background whilst the current website remains online and open.

In other news, I’ve finally cleaned up my room again and here are some photos of The PPT Show recording studio and some happy snaps from around my room! Enjoy!

This is a photo of my desk with the 20-inch iMac on the left. I heartily reccomend the iMac and any Apple related products for that matter because they are super sexy.

This is where I do all my study and academic work. Notice the orange juice? We promote healthy eating and drinking people!

What’s on the screen? PPT of course and a Skype chat window with Dave Moyer from www.neocast.org.

I have a MacBook Pro which I use in my classes to take notes. I use the 15-inch model as I previously had a 17-inch PowerBook and it was a bit of a pain (not to mention heavy) lugging it around everywhere.

This is the room to my royal abode AKA my bed. I plaster my walls with photos of my friends and family and surfing and rock climbing photos. Love the extreme sports.

And here is a final shot of my study. Next time, I’ll take you into my royal abode!
