What an exciting week at PPT it has been! Firstly we’ve brought in a new news poster, Yusrah, so a big welcome to her! May she bring the latest and greatest Neopets-related news to PPT and strive forth to make our little corner of goofy innocence on the web fun.
I’d also like to welcome Sabrina, PPT’s newest artist to the scene. Myself, Rune and Jasujo (our lovely Administrators at the PPT Forum) have some great ideas to implement around the website and we’re going to need lots of artwork to make it happen; more on that soon.
Speaking about artwork, Sabrina is currently working on PPT’s artwork for it’s first run of official PPT merchandise. That’s right folks! The PPT Corner Shop will be opening soon and will stock the latest in PPT-related gear.
Speaking about PPT-related gear, all the winners for the PPTbies2008 have been announced. In addition to receiving their own custom graphic - created by our lovely Graphics whiz WIS - they will also receive an item from the PPT Corner Store as part of their prize for the PPTbie2008 nod.
The above are examples of the winner custom graphics. All volunteers at the PPTbies2008 also receive a volunteer custom graphic as a thanks in addition to an item from the PPT Corner Store. (By the way, those images are mine people! Don’t steal them OK! I won them fair and square after extensive bribing.)
A big thanks to WIS and May for their their tireless work making sure this year’s PPTbies went off without a hitch. Thanks guys! You deserve the kudos and bragging rights. (They’re also the winners of their own respective categories. It’s karma I tells ya; karma!)
Apart from that, the news team at PPT have been going pretty crazy lately with all the new news they’re posting on PPT Main so well done guys. You all rock!
Finally, a big thanks to the PPT Editors - Jonny Blackler, Jocelyn Elisabeth Greene and Kristy West - for editing over 150 new articles for inclusion into PPT Main. I will get that added soon.
There you have it folks! Another great week at PPT.
The PPT Blog is a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on at PPT.
I’m often asked, “So what really does go on behind PPT?” so I’m going to take you all on a joyous ride to the nether regions of our loopy thoughts and show you the things we do to bring you the site you all know and love.
Along the way, I’ll give you sneak peaks into what we’re currently working on at PPT, hints as to what to expect to the future, and photos and videos to show you where in the world PPT gets made, is updated and is developed.
So sit back, enjoy the ride, and remember, behind PPT are real people. Real people are people who are real.
